Christian Benitez was an Ecuadorian professional football player who played as a striker. He started his career with El Nacional in Ecuador before moving to Santos Laguna in Mexico and later to Birmingham City in England. He was known for his speed, skill, and goal-scoring ability, and he represented the Ecuadorian national team in over 50 appearances. Sadly, Benitez passed away in 2013 at the age of 27 due to a cardiac arrest. He was a beloved figure in Ecuadorian football and is still remembered as one of the country's greatest players.
